GOODTRAE

For the past 22 years, Buyeo-gun’s joint brand, Goodtrae, has established itself as a leading brand in Korea’s agricultural and specialty products sector.

Goodtrae was established in December 2003 as a policy to promote joint agricultural product brands in response to the rapidly changing distribution environment, including the expansion of the World Trade Organization (WTO) system and free trade agreements (FTAs). It was subsequently institutionalized through trademark registration and ordinance enactment in 2004.

“Goodtrae” is a compound word made up of “Good” (meaning “good” in English) and “Tree”, which symbolizes nature. It refers to the finest agricultural and specialty products grown in Buyeo’s rich soil and pristine natural surroundings.

To ensure quality reliability, we conduct management training and customized consulting for our approval organizations twice a year, and also operate dedicated quality control teams and screening staff. Meanwhile, we continuously monitor consumer trends through our quality monitoring team.

Furthermore, Buyeo-gun’s strategic year-round online and offline marketing efforts have boosted brand recognition, resulting in six of its top 10 products dominating the national market share. The county’s agricultural products sales have continued to grow steadily, reaching 310.3 billion won in 2025.

Goodtrae, marking its 22nd anniversary, is the nation’s sole agricultural product joint brand, boasting a brand value of 392.9 billion won and a string of 53 international awards, solidifying its reputation as a powerhouse brand. Going forward, Goodtrae will continue to play a crucial role as a key driver of economic growth and regional prestige in Buyeo-gun.
