The Seoul Business Agency is a support organization that fosters small and medium-sized enterprises in Seoul’s beauty, content, and innovation sectors, and helps to revitalize the startup ecosystem. This award has solidified our position as the world’s top public accelerator, representing South Korea in the global community.

Since its founding, the Seoul Business Agency has been dedicated to nurturing Seoul’s top small and medium-sized enterprises and their talented individuals over the past 28 years. To support their continued growth into global companies, the agency has been actively building partnerships with leading public-private organizations in areas such as technology, content, and beauty.

The Seoul Business Agency is driving innovation in Seoul’s business ecosystem and engaging with citizens through seven key policy initiatives: fostering global start-ups, boosting corporate sales and exports, developing corporate talent and supporting employment, enhancing corporate technology competitiveness, revitalizing industrial hubs, promoting creative industries, and nurturing the beauty and fashion sectors.

To facilitate communication with Seoul’s small and medium-sized enterprises and citizens who require policy support, the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency operates an official YouTube channel called “Svav TV”. Through this, we showcase Seoul’s top companies and provide engaging and informative content that resonates with citizens’ interests. To introduce Seoul’s top small and medium-sized enterprises and products to citizens, the company has been running outdoor advertisements on public transportation, including subway station lighting ads, destination signs, and bus exterior ads, for the past three years. The “Citizen Satisfaction Survey Results” have seen a six-year streak of growth, thanks to the efforts of this communication initiative.
