HANJIN

Founded in 1945, Hanjin has been the backbone of the national economy for 80 years, driven by its founding philosophy of “repaying the nation through transportation.” Since introducing Korea’s first courier brand, “Pabalma,” in 1992, the company has been laying the groundwork for life logistics. Building on this foundation, it has now established a cutting-edge smart logistics system that integrates AI and automation technology, marking the dawn of the intelligent logistics era.

Hanjin operates a logistics network that processes over 2.88 million boxes daily, with a focus on its 120+ terminals across the country and the Daejeon Mega Hub. The company is accelerating its digital transformation by becoming the first in the industry to introduce a Generative AI chatbot and collaborate with Kakao Mobility to develop an AI-powered automated logistics operating system. We’re also speeding up the implementation of smart fulfillment by leveraging cutting-edge logistics technology to streamline inventory management and boost operational efficiency.

The company is also continuing its efforts to expand its global market presence. To support the international expansion of domestic brands like K-beauty, the company has proactively expanded its global fulfillment centers to key hubs like Los Angeles and Amsterdam. In addition, Hanjin One-Click, a digital logistics platform, enables small and medium-sized e-commerce sellers to expand globally without the hassle of logistics, thereby solidifying its position as a strategic SCM partner for its clients.

Hanjin President Cho Hyun-min said, “It’s truly heartening that our 80-year legacy of dedication to transportation has earned us recognition as a leading logistics brand in Korea.” He added, “Going forward, we will not only solidify our position as a stalwart in the logistics industry, which underpins the nation’s economy, but also strive to elevate the global profile of K-logistics as a global logistics company.”
