Together, produced by Binggrae, is Korea’s first authentic ice cream brand, launched in 1974. Binggrae, which began its dairy business in 1972, set out to develop a premium ice cream made with fresh milk instead of powdered milk. After more than two years of trial and error, the company released Together, named with the idea that “everyone in the nation, and every family, can enjoy classic ice cream together.” In response to demographic and social changes such as the rise in single-person households, Binggrae launched the “Original Together Miniature” in 2019, marking the brand’s 45th anniversary. While maintaining the original recipe, the new product offers one-third the size of the regular version, targeting the growing small-portion ice cream market.

In 2023, Binggrae also took steps toward sustainability by improving the packaging of Together. The traditional shrink-wrap seal on the lid was replaced with a redesigned lid structure, reducing plastic use while maintaining product integrity.

Together is also committed to delivering social value. A portion of the product’s proceeds is used to fund scholarships for the descendants of Korean independence patriots. In 2019, marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Provisional Government of Korea, the Binggrae Public Interest Foundation began this scholarship program in partnership with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. Since then, the foundation has also produced and aired campaign videos to honor their sacrifices and raise public awareness.
