Seegene Medical Foundation keeps innovating to fulfill its vocation ‘improvement of happiness and health of people in the world’. Accordingly, Seegene Medical Foundation developed the next generation diagnostic check system on the basis of the Artificial Intelligence technology as well as forming the smart lab with the largest laboratory computerization system in Korea and applied it to medical examinations.

Seegene Medical Foundation implemented the system enabling the quick and accurate delivery of disease screening results at any place in Korea, opening ▲ Busan Gyeongsangnam-do Laboratory Center in June 2014, ▲ Daegu Gyeongsangbuk-do Laboratory Center in January 2020, ▲ Gwangju Honam Laboratory Center in June and ▲ Daejeon Chungcheong-do Laboratory Center in February 2022.

Seegene Medical Foundation organized an emergency team from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and completed the highest number of COVID-19 tests in the nationwide diagnostic check network. Seegene Medical Foundation installed screening centers in cooperation with local authorities in Korea and operated PCR center for on-site preventive measures in schools in Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan in cooperation with municipal and provincial offices of education as well as the Ministry of Education. Moreover, Seegene Medical Foundation responded quickly against the COVID-19 pandemic using the ‘Seegene Mobile Lab’, the advanced and computerized moving laboratory.

Seegene Medical Foundation has been deploying volunteering service in Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kenya as well as Korea, including the establishment and donation of health centers and inviting and training health care workers. Furthermore, Seegene Medical Foundation will actively implement the joint research with other organizations and enterprises and integrate and manage laboratories of the Foundation including molecular diagnosis, mass analysis, immunity, and AI for innovative R&D.
