President Jongtae Park of Incheon National University has been dynamically finding the agenda for the further advancement of the local community and the country and contributing to creating socially shared values since his appointment as the President of Incheon National University on May 10, 2021.

President Park set the research identity of Incheon National University as, ’national university as the research hub focusing on practical learning’ and contributed to the production of socially influential research achievements by establishing a differentiated research innovation model.

Furthermore, President Park contributed to strengthening the infrastructure required for research by implementing the virtuous cycle of development of good research personnel and secured the research-oriented university brand, endeavoring for the qualitative growth of research achievements by activating team researches, Moreover, President Park contributed to building the infrastructure to develop innovation ventures and startups in Korea by securing the infrastructure for the innovation of startup education and an eco-system of youth startups through various ways, including the reorganization of the startup school system.

Meanwhile, President Jongtae Park shared the good education capability of the university with local communities by implementing the local community companion platform and contributed to the development of the local community and the country by creating shared values (CSV) as a national university. In particular, President Park endeavored to identify approaches to lead to social consensus on a wide range of outstanding issues faced by Incheon, as well as Korea, including a civic forum on the environmental agenda and approaches for inter-Korean cooperation and peace.
