Suwon Special City has pursued improvements in its CI (City Identity) design to propel new changes and growth following its transition into a special city. The new CI maintains the visual motifs of the existing CI, namely the ‘Seobuk Gongsimdon’ and the ‘Hwaseong Fortress,’ while reconstructing the image in a modern context, thereby harmonizing traditional values with future-oriented ones, encapsulating the essence of Suwon. The succinct design, which can serve as the focal point for various municipal activities, communicates with citizens through diverse media channels from the heart of municipal affairs.
