As being selected by the K-NBA, LG Electronics announced the launch of new the air conditioner, ‘LG WHISEN Object Collection Tower 2023’. The new air conditioner is highlighted an auto-cleaning control function. The ‘Pet Care Mode’ makes it easier to use the air conditioner.

LG Electronics applied the clean case completing antibacterial treatment at the back of the heat exchanger where lots of moisture is formed. Along with the auto-drying function clearing moisture in the existing heat exchanger, even the inner side, the air conditioner can be managed more hygienically. LG Electronics verified that the new clean case had 99.9% antibacterial effects against staphylococcus aureus and E.coli in tests conducted with KOTITI Testing and Research Institute, the national certification test agency.

The auto-cleaning control of LG WHISEN Tower becomes more powerful with 7-step control adding the clean case. The new product thoroughly and clearly manages the unit along the path of wind in 7 steps, ▲ Filter Clean Bot automatically cleaning dust by micro filter(step 1), ▲ Micro Filter eliminating germs which may reside in the filter (Step 2), ▲ air cleaning acquiring CAC (Certification Air Conditioner) by Korea Air Cleaning Association (Step 3), ▲ Clean Case (Step 4), ▲ cleaning of heat exchanger (Step 5), ▲ AI drying (Step 6), and ▲ UV LED fan sterilization (Step 7).

Another merit is ‘self-cleaning control’ enabling customers to directly clean all 4 fans inside the air conditioner whenever they want with thorough auto-control. LG Electronics applied the ‘Pet Care Mode’ to the new product. When the room temperature reaches a preset value, cooling is activated to prevent a pet from feeling hot or the air conditioner can be remotely started or stopped using the LG ThinQ App.
