As a delegated executive agency, aT stabilizes supply and demand through price stabilization and distribution improvement initiatives for agricultural and fishery products. It also fosters the food industry to contribute to income stability for farmers and fishers and the balanced development of the national economy. Since declaring its commitment to ESG management in 2021, aT has achieved outstanding ESG results, including earning the highest grade of “Excellent” for three consecutive years in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Co-prosperity Evaluation. Additionally, aT has been recognized as an accredited institution in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) and Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) joint Rural ESG Implementation Recognition Program for two consecutive years. Notably, in response to the global climate crisis, aT established the Climate Change Response Task Force last year. This initiative has developed a comprehensive plan for stable agricultural production and supply management, while also promoting the export of K-Food to expand Korea’s global food footprint.
