Launches Lifestyle Membership Program- Leading Industry Trends

Hyundai Duty Free has been awarded the top prize in the duty-free category at the 2025 16th Korea National Brand Awards (NYF K-NBA). The company is leading industry trends by introducing differentiated customer services previously unseen in the duty-free sector. In May of last year, Hyundai Duty Free became the first in the industry to launch a customer lifestyle membership program called “Hype Club.”

The company also operates an exclusive partnership with Korean Air, allowing customers to earn mileage points when shopping duty-free. In addition, Hyundai Duty Free offers unique products such as key rings and croissants through collaboration with trendy brands such as Cozymozy and Teddy Bhuir. Such customer-oriented and trendy-savvy brand strategies have enhanced public perception and led to the brand’s award-winning recognition.

Hyundai Duty Free is also working on its brand renewal. Last year, it changed its corporate name from Hyundai Department Store Duty Free to simply Hyundai Duty Free, unveiling a new symbol and logo that reflect its brand philosophy. Through rebranding, Hyundai Duty Free has been establishing a consistent corporate image and enhancing communication with customers.
