Opened in 1989, Lotte World Adventure is the top theme park in Korea, leading the industry with new content. On the basis of theme park operation knowhow accumulated for 34 years, Lotte World became the best entertainment enterprise in Korea successfully managing ▲ Lotte Water Park, ▲ Lotte World Aquarium, and ▲ Lotte World Tower Observatory Seoul SKy.

Lotte World Adventure is realizing the vision as the global entertainment enterprise through the ‘Vietnam Hanoi Aquarium’ to be opened this year and ‘Lotte World Adventure Busan’ opened in March 2022. Recently, Lotte World Adventure became an innovator, leading the trend and diversifying business areas to online, including the issuance of an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) and starting a Metaverse service.

Lotte World is implementing a variety of attempts through the projects targeting the MZ generation (early 1980s to early 2000s). Lotte World Adventure launched ‘Cart Rider Racing World’, the offline attraction for the online game Cart Rider, in November last year. ‘Cart Rider Racing World’ enables visitors to enjoy the online game ‘Cart Rider: Drift’ in a cart in the offline space.

Lotte World Adventure is also actively promoting the IP licensing business. Lotte World drew substantial attention by launching game items reflecting the cosmology of Lotte World Adventure on popular mobile games, including ‘Every Town’, the farm management simulation game and ‘Pit-a-pat-a Restaurant’, the restaurant management game. Moreover, Lotte World is expanding business areas to online contents production and distribution using character IP. ‘Lotte Friends’, the YouTube channel targeting babies and their families, reproduced the representative characters of Lotte World, in popular children’s songs, dances, and creative fairy tales.
