Kyungbok University recorded an employment rate of 80.6% according to the 2024 University Information Disclosure (as of December 31, 2023) released by the Ministry of Education, ranking first nationwide among all general and vocational universities with over 2,000 graduates.

From 2017 to 2022, Kyungbok University held the top employment rate among universities in the metropolitan area with more than 2,000 graduates for six consecutive years. It has also maintained the nation’s No. 1 employment rate for three consecutive years, demonstrating its outstanding educational outcomes. The employment rate has steadily increased from 76.9% in 2017 to 80.2% in 2020, and reached an all-time high of 80.6% in 2023. This success is attributed to Kyungbok University’s practical, career-focused education and its student-tailored support system. As of the 2022 academic year, the university awarded a total of KRW 25.2 billion in scholarships, with an average of KRW 4.22 million per student, and a scholarship benefit rate of 92%. The university is also excelling in overseas employment. Through its exclusive global employment support programs, Kyungbok has produced 3,721 global job placements to date. Students are offered opportunities such as language training at MDIS University in Singapore and international field experiences. In addition, Kyungbok University has signed employment-guaranteed agreements with over 8,400 industry-academic cooperation partners, strengthening real-world job placement opportunities.

The university also runs the program to enhance global competence. In 2024, 26 students were selected for the Global Field Study Program, where they engaged with approximately 600 international students from 48 countries, gaining valuable cultural experiences.

Kyungbok also boasts convenient infrastructure for student life. It operates modern dormitories accommodating 1,649 students, with 1,335 at the Namyangju campus and 314 at the Pocheon campus. Accessibility has also greatly improved with 18 free shuttle buses and the recent opening of Jinjeop (Kyungbok Univ.) Station on the subway line.
