Dongwon F&B is a comprehensive food company that has been responsible for the nation’s dining tables with a wide range of products, including Korea’s first tuna can, ‘Dongwon Tuna’, processed seafood, canned ham, frozen and refrigerated foods, dairy products, functional health supplements, and home meal replacements (HMR).

With the management philosophy of “Euishikdongwon” (醫食同源, meaning good food is the best medicine), Dongwon F&B leads the way in promoting a healthy food culture. Through continuous research, development, and investment, the company has grown into a leading domestic food enterprise, achieving the “4 Trillion Won Sales Club” for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024.

Recently, the company has set a long-term vision of becoming a global food company that contributes to global human health, and it is actively pursuing the global market. Amid the ongoing global K-Food boom, Dongwon F&B is expanding exports with a focus on iconic Korean flavors, such as ‘Yangban Gim’, ‘Gochu Tuna’, and ‘Tteokbokki Master’.

Efforts to discover the next-generation K-Foods, such as pet food and beverages, are also underway. Dongwon F&B recently began exporting its pet food brand ‘Nutri-Plan’ to the U.S., the largest market in the world. It is a significant achievement for Dongwon F&B to have exported its own brand products to the pet food market, which had long been dominated by foreign brands such as Nestlé Purina and Mars. This accomplishment comes 10 years after the launch of Nutri-Plan in 2014.

Additionally, the probiotic drink ‘Denmark Take Alive’ was introduced to Costco stores across Japan last year, selling over 10 million units to date. As the global fascination with Korea’s spicy flavors continues, interest in K-beverages, which pair well with spicy foods, has also increased. This has led to a rise in the popularity of Denmark Take Alive, which features unique fruit flavors like sweet grapefruit, mango, blood orange, and muscat grape, with a smooth and sweet taste.
