Under those management philosophies, Cuchen has been presenting cookers, microwave ovens, and small home appliances with a variety of functions and designs.

Cucheon launched the ‘121 Rice Cooker’, the rice cooker specialized for grains for the first time in 2021, when healthy food was highlighted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 121 Rice Cooker expanded the scope of the rice cooker market in Korea, launching rice cookers mainly for white rice. The ‘121 Rice Cooker’ reduces cooking time and softens multi-grain rice like white rice by adopting 2.1 ultra-high-pressure technology for the first time among electric rice cookers. In accordance with the research results by Cuchen Rice Laboratory, rice texture was improved by 33% and everyone of all ages and genders can have soft multi-grain rice without any reluctance.

Cuchen also launched the ‘Cuchen Triple’ rice cooker adopting new technologies, including IoT and mounting 3 pressure units for the first time in Korea in September 2022. ‘Cuchen Triple’ is characterized by multi-step control of pressure, 2.1 ultra-high pressure, 1.3 high pressure, and 1.0 no pressure by increasing from one pressure valve to two. In particular, IoT, significantly improves consumers’ convenience by enabling them to control the rice cooker, even when they are not at home.

As such, Cuchen has been implementing a variety of activities, including ▲ development of rice cooker reflecting the change of food culture trends, ▲ quantification of rice taste and establishment of rice taste standards by activating collaboration with professional organizations, including schools and industry cooperation organizations, and ▲ proposal of custom rice taste depending on the life cycle, including early childhood, middle age, and old age.
