Christian Memorial Park

Christian Memorial Park

The Christian Memorial Park actively participates in establishing Christian burial culture and contributes to the nation’s land efficiency policy. Since its inauguration in 2004, the Christian Memorial Park has expanded significantly, with the consecration of over 4,000 burial tablets in November 2009 and the addition of 15,000 more in August 2016 through the expansion of Victory Hall. With 10 memorial halls, burial tablets, family graves, and a memorial garden, it solidifies its position as Korea’s representative memorial park, accommodating a total of 39,122 burial tablets.
The Christian Memorial Park provides facilities for the peaceful rest of the deceased while focusing on developing services and amenities for visiting families. Various facilities are available throughout the park to ensure comfort for visitors of all ages, including young children and the elderly.

Regular cultural events for families are organized, such as annual competitions for ‘Memorial Writings’ on the foundation anniversary, accompanied by exhibitions and awards for outstanding works. A separate booklet titled ‘Pieces of Longing Sent to Heaven’ is published by collecting the awarded writings. Sculpture exhibitions are also held within the memorial hall.

Special events are organized for holiday visitors, where volunteers offer free warm beverages. Particularly during the Korean Thanksgiving holidays, a memorial concert is held in the central square, providing a valuable experience of solace through music for those remembering their loved ones. The bereaved families remember their loved ones amidst the quiet melody, coming together as one through the beautiful language of music.

The foundation donates 200 to 300 million won annually to social welfare facilities and religious organizations. Last summer, it contributed special funds to support victims of heavy rainfall, demonstrating its social responsibility as a Christian enterprise.
