On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, Kyungbok University declared Vision 2030, ‘Cultivating Talents, Training Champions!’ With this, the university presented its development strategies; △ completing a digital transformation as the university’s digital strategy, △constructing tailored services from a student success perspective as the student success strategy, △strengthening the brand through global network activities as the internal and external expansion and sharing strategy, and △ensuring sustainability through ESG management.
Kyungbok University is implementing ‘Realization of GROW WITH Education’ for student success allowing a flexible educational innovation platform. To achieve this, it supports student-tailored education, career and employment support, and an educational service platform based on the ‘student success support system.‘

Through ‘student-selective integrated education curriculum’ with over 70% being modular-based practical education, the university manages the ‘quality of education’ by validating the practicality and the linkage of education to the field. Additionally, by signing agreements with over 8,400 industrial partners for industry-academia cooperation, it endeavors to attain ‘100% employment-guarantee departments.‘

Demonstrating the social responsibility of a university, Kyungbok University has been recognized as the top university in the Seoul metropolitan area (with over 2,000 graduates) for six consecutive years from 2017 to 2022 in terms of graduate employment rate and has held the top national employment rate for three consecutive years. Furthermore, it has been △recognized as the top specialized university in the nation by the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation (May 2023 to January 2024), △ selected as a ‘General Financially Supported University’ in the 2021 Ministry of Education’s Basic Competency Evaluation, △ chosen for the Link 3.0 Project by the Ministry of Education in 2022, and △ selected as an accredited university for internationalization capability by the Ministry of Education for five consecutive years, showcasing its excellence and educational capacity.
